Press release date: September 14, 2008
Aldon Company, Inc. of Waukegan, Illinois makes placing or removing a rail-road "blue flag" a real piece of cake. The new Magnetic Base Aluiminum Sign Holder utilizes a pair of powerful rare-earth magnets to grip exposed or flush rail. No more bending or stooping to get a clamp around the rail. The worker just plunks the Magnetic Base Holder down on the rail and goes on his way. The new sign holder will stand up to a 60 mile per hour wind force against the sign plate face.
OSHA requires that all stationary rail cars on sidings be protected with a blue flag. Aldon's new Magnetic Base Sign Holder makes such compliance a little easier.
