Industry-leading Cost Recovery Solution Extends Functionality to Track Online Research
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 20 - ILTA '07 - Equitrac Corporation, the world leader and most trusted name in intelligent cost recovery and print management solutions, today announced integration with LookUp Precision from Advanced Productivity Software. With this integration, Equitrac Professional 5 now provides automatic tracking and costing of online research from sites including Lexis, Westlaw, Pacer, and hundreds of others.
Equitrac's extensive integration options for leading time & billing systems and robust web services for administration, reporting and exception editing augment the extensive tracking and intuitive user interface of the Look-Up Precision application. Through the LookUp Precision application, law firms can track usage metrics for any online resource, including accurate, validated client/matter assignment.
Announced here today at the opening of ILTA '07, the 30th annual educational conference of the International Legal Technology Association, Equitrac's integration with LookUp Precision provides summary or detailed reports, including user information, transactions, search terms, and costs, which are instantly available to the firm and can be processed through Equitrac for a complete cost recovery solution. This means that the electronic resource vendors no longer have a monopoly on usage information, putting firms on solid ground when negotiating resource contracts.
