EPL and AcuLaser range of printing solutions ideal for SMB and corporate users looking for cost-effective, high-quality performance

Epson will showcase a complete range of monochrome and colour laser printers for the business and corporate sectors during GITEX Technology Week 2007, when it is held in Dubai from September 8 to 12. Epson will present its EPL-6200, EPL-N2550 and EPL N-3000 monochrome laser printing solutions as well as the AcuLaser C3800, AcuLaser C4200, AcuLaser C9100, AcuLaser CX11NF and AcuLaser CX21N colour laser printers at Stand #B-4-20, Hall 4 during one of the world's largest IT exhibitions.
Epson's EPL-6200 series, which also includes the EPL-6200L, is a high-performance A4 mono laser printing solution for small to medium workgroups and personal users. One of its key features is its cost-effective professional performance, delivering quick, easy, reliable, and high-quality results as well as optimum productivity with minimum investment.
Other features of the Windows and Mac-compatible unit include flexible network connectivity with USB and parallel interface standard and optional network interface, print speeds of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) at 1200dpi resolution and 10.3 seconds first page out time, standard 250 sheet cassette with optional 500 sheet cassette and duplex unit, 30,000 pages maximum monthly volume, and standard ESC/Page, PCL6 and PCL5 and Adobe PostScript support.
The EPL-N2550 is a compact A3 monochrome laser printer ideal for fast-paced corporate workgroups that require secure printing, cluster printing, document management, tracking tools or barcode and symbol support. The EPL-N2550 is equipped with Epson's Quick Fusing Technology that allows fast printing speeds of up to 30 ppm, and handles numerous jobs quickly and effectively with a 64MB memory and 200MHz processor.
Epson's EPL-N3000 has been designed to reinforce Epson's status as the leading player in serious business printing, as the unit offers a complete mono laser printing solution for demanding networked businesses. The EPL-N3000 produces excellent quality output at remarkably high speeds and is very versatile, reliable, cost-efficient and simple to operate with a highly intuitive user interface that suits even beginners.
The Epson AcuLaser C3800 is an A4 colour printer that is one of the fastest in its class, making it ideal for SME's and larger corporations looking for speed, reliability and security. The AcuLaser C3800 prints monochrome and full colour documents at speeds of 25ppm and 20 ppm respectively. Built to handle large print jobs, the AcuLaser C3800 offers a maximum monthly print volume of 60,000 pages with a capacity to hold up to 1,250 sheets at a time. It also incorporates Epson's USB Memory Print Maker, which ensures confidentiality by printing directly from a USB key or password.
The AcuLaser C4200 series provides fast and economical professional results in both colour and mono to demanding workgroups. The AcuLaser C4200 is highly efficient with a first page out time of 10.2 seconds and print speeds of up to 35 ppm in mono and 25 ppm in colour. High quality prints are guaranteed with its powerful combination of Epson AcuBrite toner and Epson AcuLaser Colour ASIC technology.
Easy to maintain with reliable and long-lasting consumables, the AcuLaser C4200 also features a large LCD control panel, large paper capacity of up to 5 trays and 2,350 sheets, monthly print volume of 90,000 pages, comprehensive connectivity with parallel, USB 2.0 and 10/100 Base Tx Ethernet; and supports PCL5C, Epson ESC/Page, ESC/P2, FX and IBM 1239X and Adobe PostScript 3.
The Epson AcuLaser C9100 is based on the concept of creating a single printing solution for all colour and mono printing needs. The AcuLaser C9100 delivers professional colour documents as fast and as easy as with mono laser printers, and with the same or even better cost efficiency. Key features of the AcuLaser C9100 include detailed text, logos and graphics with Epson AcuLaser 2400 RIT; high-quality, reliable and economical output guaranteed by Epson AcuBrite toner; fast colour and mono printing at 24 ppm; no waiting inconvenience with first page to print time of 10.5 seconds; wide range of media up to A3 size and 216g/m2 thickness; monthly print volume of 80,000 pages and paper capacity of up to 2,150 sheets with up to five different trays.
The AcuLaser CX11NF is an ideal multi-function printer for small offices and outsourced IT departments and workgroups, ensuring quick and high-quality printing, scanning and copying of documents on top full fax functionality. The AcuLaser CX11NF features a large back-lit LCD control panel, offers paper output that is accessible from all sides and allows multiple copy, with printing speeds of up to 25 ppm in mono and 5 ppm in colour. It also comes bundled with free software for creating professional colour documents, managing scanned files and photos, business card scanning, character recognition and filing.
For workgroups of large corporations as well as small and medium businesses that require print, copy, scan and fax functions, the AcuLaser CX21N is the ideal integrated machine. It features fax and automatic document feeder or additional paper cassettes to meet the specific needs of any office. The AcuLaser CX21N is equipped with Epson's Wrapping Transfer Technology, which brings greater accuracy to the transfer of toner to the paper, resulting in a sharper, clearer image.
Other features of the AcuLaser CX21N include print speeds of 25 ppm in monochrome and 5 ppm in colour; support of key printer languages such as PCL6, PCL5c, and Adobe PostScript 3; maximum monthly print volume of 45,000 pages and 680-sheet capacity; high toner capacity for low cost per print; intuitive user interface with a large, bright, backlit LCD control panel that displays live status information, and a wide connectivity range with USB and Ethernet options. Moreover, the scan function features resolution of up to 9600dpi and connects to any PC on the immediate network, while the fax function has a high-print speed of 33.6 kbps and will provide colour and monochrome copies.
