Increased Flexibility, Weather Resistance and Durability in a Direct-To-Concrete Formula
(ST. LOUIS - February 15, 2006) - Repainting swimming pools can be completed faster and more efficiently while providing longer-lasting protection with the Chemline's EPO-LUX 221SP, a direct-to-concrete, high-build masonry coating that requires no primer and provides exceptional coverage. Designed for use on poured-in-place, aged concrete, as well as fiberglass, EPO-LUX 221SP provides superior resistance to chlorine and other chemicals. With one less coat required to achieve the desired results, the unique product achieves maximum performance, which saves on time and labor costs because jobs can be turned faster.
EPO-LUX 221SP also has excellent resistance to moisture penetration from constant immersion. The high-build formula, which must be applied at a minimum of 7-10 mils wft and 4-6 mils dft, can be sprayed, rolled or even brushed on. With its proprietary chemical resistant technology, EPO-LUX 221SP tolerates solvents and oils and can be applied to new or existing pools so construction schedules can be accelerated.
EPO-LUX 221SP is available in a wide array of colors and it offers excellent gloss retention above the waterline. For exterior applications, this product requires a UV resistant top coat to prevent chalking.
