Press release date: July 26, 2010

Epilog Laser today announced record-setting laser sales in the month of June, 2010. In addition to being the highest-selling month in the company's history, June also capped off a record-setting first half year for Epilog.

"We're very excited to see such growth in system sales", said Mike Dean, director of sales and marketing at Epilog Laser. "A few years ago, we recognized that to maintain our dominant position in the lower-power, small-format laser industry, we would need to broaden our product line and diversify our markets. That decision has been paramount to our strategic growth."

The company recognizes that achieving this goal was a result of hard work from employees, colleagues and associates both in and outside of the company

"A lot of hard work went into reaching this milestone," said Dean, "and we did it during a period of very challenging business conditions. More than anything, I think it speaks volumes about the caliber of people we work with. Every person and every organization associated with Epilog really stepped up their game to help make this happen. With economic hardships affecting so many businesses, the fact that we've avoided laying off any staff and have prospered in times of such uncertainty is something we are extremely proud of. While not every moment has been easy over the last few years, everyone has stayed motivated and upbeat. I think that attitude has really resonated with our customers", said Dean.

In addition to record system sales, Epilog has also increased their laser tube manufacturing capabilities, resulting in additional exposure as one of the premier manufacturers of low-power laser tubes in the world.

"The laser tube is the heart of the system," Dean said, "and incorporating our own tubes has been fundamental in fueling our growth since we first introduced them over four years ago."
