Envirosight Performance Recognized at iPEK Worldwide Sales Meeting.

Randolph, New Jersey - Envirosight's contribution to the success of iPEK, a leading worldwide engineer and manufacturer of pipe inspection technology, was recognized this year at the company's annual international sales meeting. The event, held April 12-15 at company headquarters in Sulzberg, Germany, hosted sales partners from regions as far flung as Japan, Australia, South Africa, Russia, Brazil, Malaysia and Spain, and heralded the launch of the company's new flagship pipe inspection crawler, ROVVER X. As the exclusive representative for iPEK's ROVVER, ROVVER X and SuperVision crawler product lines in North and South America, Envirosight received special recognition for top performance among members of the iPEK sales channel.

"North America is a nuanced market with specialized demands, and most European companies falter trying to gain entry," said Florian Pfefferle, Managing Director of iPEK, during opening remarks. "Yet in ten short years, Envirosight has built a leading market position for our products, in part by promoting features that are uniquely relevant to that market, and also by communicating vigorously to evolve the mindset and expectations of operators. They network aggressively among municipal suppliers, and the results stand on their own-today Envirosight holds a dominant position in North America, they lead the iPEK sales channel in terms of both dollars and units sold, and they're making significant inroads in South America."

The opening remarks kicked off three days of sales strategy, networking and new product training. The eagerly awaited ROVVER X crawler platform headlined the event, and was the focus of both classroom and field training sessions. ROVVER X delivers iPEK's trademark steerable 6-wheel drive and adaptable architecture at a mid-market price, but with enhanced range (up to 1650'), a simplified 3-piece system layout, and a powerful handheld control pendant with digital recording and reporting. Furthermore, it is easily accessorized for side-scanning, remote camera height adjustment, lateral launch, and large-diameter pipe inspection.

"It's always gratifying to have your efforts recognized," said Richard Lindner, President of Envirosight. "But the real reward is seeing how ROVVER X brings our relationship with iPEK full circle. This is the first product developed primarily for the North American market, and it's a testament to what we've accomplished that iPEK gives a channel player like Envirosight a front seat at product design meetings."

ROVVER X shared the spotlight with the QuickView Haloptic zoom inspection camera, designed and manufactured by Envirosight at the company's Randolph, NJ headquarters. The new QuickView is based on Envirosight's patented Haloptic light engine, which delivers up to 20 times more light than conventional systems, thereby enhancing inspection range, light distribution and image detail. "We've seen international demand for zooming technology grow exponentially in the past 18 months," said Mr. Lindner. "Since we share much of our international sales channel with iPEK, it makes perfect sense to stage QuickView Haloptic's international debut here at iPEK's sales meeting."
