Emerson Network Power Expands Capabilities of Its Web-Based Monitoring and Reporting Tool

Customer Services Network provides immediate access to all contracted critical equipment, including precision air conditioning, UPS units, battery systems and more.

Columbus, Ohio [August 14, 2007] - Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity(TM), today introduced innovative enhancements to its industry-leading Customer Services Network (CSN). The web-based monitoring and reporting tool is available exclusively to service customers of Emerson Network Power

Emerson's CSN streamlines facility management processes and ensures immediate access to vital information about customers' mission-critical equipment, from precision air conditioning and uninterruptible power supply to generators, batteries and other support systems. Its unique web-based reporting capabilities enable facility managers to look inside their critical facility - anywhere, anytime - for the information they need most.

The enhancements to the CSN provide superior functionality, allowing Customer Relationship Management customers a unique dashboard view of performance metrics that includes: preventive maintenance completion statistics, average on-site response time, and average emergency service repair time. These customers also will be able to review the preventive maintenance schedule for their contracted sites and request changes. Additionally, Emerson's Enterprise Remote Monitoring customers now will be able to view alarm history and their unique escalation procedure, as well as review alarm contact information and request changes.

"With the introduction of the new capabilities of the Customer Services Network we now expand critical reporting capabilities to all customer equipment under contract," said AJ Groeber, marketing communications manager, Emerson Network Power. "Organizations can manage every aspect of their service program directly from their desktops, with immediate access to real-time information on all equipment."

Emerson's CSN also now features an enhanced look, notably an expanded view of preventive maintenance reports.

Emerson Network Power maintains the largest technical support and customer response system in the industry with more than 375 factory-trained and company-employed service professionals nationwide. Offerings include services for UPS, batteries, mission-critical cooling, DC power installations and generators, as well as enterprise remote monitoring and availability assessment services.
