Elysium Inc. Extends Official Supplier Agreement with Renault F1 Team
FIA Formula One World Champions to adopt Elysium Software throughout organization
SOUTHFIELD, MI, March 2, 2006 -- Elysium Inc., a leading global provider of multi-CAD enabling software, has extended its relationship as an Official Supplier to the Renault Formula One Team. With the new agreement, the elite automotive racing team expands the use of Elysiums technology throughout its organization for 3D data translation as well as for streamlining its supply chain. Elysiums logo will also appear on Renaults racecars worldwide during the upcoming race season.
Renault F1 Team originally implemented Elysiums 3D CAD data translation technology in 2003. The system had been jointly developed in order to meet the specific demands of the teams fast-paced, high-quality engineering environment.

Renault F1 Team achieved double-crown World Championship victories in 2005, winning both the constructors and drivers events. The achievement marked the first time a mass-market auto manufacturer has won the world championship. According to Renault F1 Team, they performed this feat with a smaller budget and fewer employees than other teams. The lean efficiency of the engineering process allowed the team to compete at the highest level.
