Elsner Engineering Works, Inc. has recently shipped a versatile converting line that produces consumer sized rolls of giftwrap from rolled or sheeted stock on a single rewinder. The Elsner Model GS-4-800-SF was designed to accommodate converters who need to work from both sheeted and rolled products. It can be used to rewind traditional giftwrap papers, posters, metalized film and various other substrates. As with Elsner's more standard offerings, the line can produce rolls in cored, coreless or sheet stiffened fashion.
The Elsner line incorporates an automatic sheet feeder and moves the standard roll unwinds overhead. A mill roll lift crane assists the operator in preparing the materials for conversion. This machine is capable of rolling single, double or triple sheets into the finished product roll. The machinery line offers complete packaging by adding the ELSNER Model EW-4-800 Fully Automatic Shrink Film Roll Overwrapper. The Model EW-4-800 features a loose-leaf label inserter and includes powered adjustments to allow machine adjustments for roll width and diameter without stopping the machine or opening the guards.
