Terberg Matec UK Ltd to serve as authorized service and parts distributor for North America's largest street sweeper manufacturer
ELGIN, Ill. (Nov. 28th 2006) - Elgin Sweeper Company, North America's largest road sweeper manufacturer, has announced that Terberg Matec UK Limited, a leader in the waste handling and recycling markets in the United Kingdom, will be Elgin Sweeper's authorized service and OEM parts distributor for the United Kingdom. Terberg Matec will also serve as Elgin Sweeper's sole authorized chassis-fitting partner in the United Kingdom.

According to Dow, the alliance with Terberg Matec is a natural fit for Elgin Sweeper. "Terberg Matec UK is a recognized market leader in bin lifting equipment and recycling vehicles, and Elgin Sweeper products are the sweepers of choice for municipal applications worldwide. Our combined focus on municipalities makes for great synergy". "Municipal and hire customers throughout the United Kingdom deserve a viable alternative to the traditional two large incumbent sweeper suppliers - more competition means the customer wins," Dow said.
