Electronics manufacturing service provider ControlTek, Inc. has announced the launch of the Washington-based manufacturer's new interactive website featuring custom web design and unique narrative navigation. The site was designed to provide users with information customized to their own interests. This project was collaborative throughout the creative process, says Outlier co-founder Ben Friedle. ControlTek has a unique story that sets them apart from other manufacturers in the industry. Teaming up with ControlTek and Word Lions, we designed and built a site that reflects the qualities that make ControlTek such a powerful manufacturing partner for their clients.
The new site is a complete overhaul of the EMS provider's (http://controltek.com/manufacturing) old website, featuring interactive graphics and an original choose your own adventure style homepage navigation to showcase three over-arching storylines created by Word Lions. The storylines provide insight into ControlTek's robust electronics manufacturing and design engineering (http://controltek.com/design-engineering) capabilities, focusing on the information that purchasers, engineers and executives want.
ControlTek has a unique and compelling story, says Word Lions Principal Joel Barker. The Word Lions team felt that telling their story demanded a website with content as unique and exciting as they are. The final website really reflects the talents and passion of the marketing team, including ControlTek leadership and Outlier's experts.
