Electrolube Showcase Silicone Resin and Demonstrate 2 Part Material Dispensing at Electronex

Electrolube, the global chemicals manufacturer for the electronics, automotive and industrial manufacturing industries, will showcase the company's fastest selling silicone resin, developed for the LED industry, at Electronex on the 12-13th September at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney. There will also be a demonstration using an air-driven dispensing system to show how 2 part materials can be dispensed from a small shot size and Electrolube will also be highlighting new chemical solutions to enable responsible 'greener' manufacturing, without compromising performance.

One of Electrolube's fastest selling and most successful silicone resin products ever, SC3001, part of the SC product range, will be a main highlight at Electronex. Achieving record sales in Australia, SC3001 is an optically clear and flexible two-part encapsulation compound, developed specifically for the needs of the LED industry where optical clarity is essential. It helps to dissipate heat generated from LEDs and protects and insulates components from the threats of harsh and challenging environments including moisture and general contamination whilst providing outstanding performance. The SC range of silicone products also includes the "2000" series of silicone resin products offering an excellent barrier against a number of extreme conditions and enable high continuous operating temperatures. Silicone resins in the "2000" series include SC2001, a general potting and encapsulating compound, SC2001FD a fast cure compound and SC2003, a thixotropic compound.

Electrolube will also be holding a demonstration of the Graco PR70 dispensing machine. The positive displacement air-driven machine will demonstrate how 2 part materials, polyurethane, epoxies or silicones can be dispensed from a small shot size of 2cc at a ratio accuracy of +/- 1%. Tank size options are available with Stainless steel in 7.5L, 30L and 60L or the economical Polyethylene 8 litre. The demonstration will take place on Electrolube's stand, C22, where the company's management and technical team will be available to help identify solutions for visitors with specific electronic and manufacturing requirements.
