Industry-leading 3D design software now runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-Macs while offering significant performance increases on both systems

BOULDER, Colo., Aug. 14 /- Today Electric Rain, Inc.(R) announced the release of Swift 3D(R) version 5.0 for the Macintosh platform in a new, universal binary format enabling the software to run natively on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. Low-level changes will increase vector and raster rendering speed with increases up to three-fold on Intel-Macs. The new streamlined installer also performs an auto install of the Flash CS3 Importer.
