Edward Trackman has joined IPC staff as vice president of special projects. John Mitchell of Bose Corporation called Trackman "a consummate professional and visionary," citing his "engineering experience, knowledge, and management savvy." In addition to 20+ published articles, Trackman has 6 U.S. patents and related foreign patents. His engineering career has spanned such institutions as General Motors Research Laboratories, Bose Corporation, and Golden Key International Honour Society.

BANNOCKBURN, Ill. -- Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces that Edward Trackman has joined the IPC staff as vice president of special projects.

Trackman began his engineering career in the automotive industry at General Motors Research Laboratories. His experience includes positions of increasing responsibilities with the automotive operations division of Rockwell International, the OEM group at Harman International and Panasonic Automotive.
In 2003, Trackman joined Bose Corporation where he worked with John Mitchell. He was responsible for establishing the strategic direction for a major initiative to broaden the automotive division's product offering.
Most recently, Trackman served as senior vice president of development at Golden Key International Honour Society, instituting new goals and strategies for corporate partnerships.
Trackman earned a B.E. in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art; an M.S. in engineering design from California Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University. He also received an M.B.A. from the Advanced Management Program at Michigan State University.
Trackman has six U.S. patents and related foreign patents, and has published more than 20 articles.
