REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Jan. 10 // -- Edge Dynamics, the leading provider of channel commerce management (CCM) solutions, today announced that Edge Connector 2.0 has achieved "Certified for SAP NetWeaver(R)" status from SAP AG. Customers using this configuration-based connector benefit from faster time-to-live implementations, less deployment risk and lower total cost of ownership.
Edge Dynamics' CCM Enterprise solution augments SAP order-to-cash processes by evaluating each transaction against channel business policies. It is the only real-time, policy-based channel commerce management solution that offers bi-directional integration to detect deviations from channel business policies and take corrective action when deployed with a customer's implementation of the SAP(R) solution.
To achieve Certified for SAP NetWeaver status, vendors must demonstrate that their applications interface seamlessly with the SAP NetWeaver platform. SAP rigorously tests and certifies applications through its SAP Integration and Certification Center.

The Edge Dynamics Connector 2.0 has two core components, the Adapter and Integration Scenarios.
o The Adapter -- Built with SAP components, the adapter provides the "dial-tone" connection in a streamlined and secure link between SAP applications and the Edge platform. o Integration Scenarios -- These provide two-way connections between specific SAP processes, such as order management, and the corresponding Edge processes.
Consulting partners and customers can quickly build mappings between SAP NetWeaver and Edge Dynamics Connector 2.0 using a simple Web interface and a sophisticated set of rules and messages and then immediately deploy them, avoiding the expense of building custom interfaces. Integration requires no additional coding, so the enterprise code base and its change management policies are untouched.
The Edge Dynamics Connector 2.0 is included as part of the Edge Enterprise solution at no additional charge.
