RAMSEY, MN-January 14, 2008-EWS Tool Technologies of Germany ("EWS"), a leading manufacturer of driven and static tools, announces the purchase of Command Tooling Systems, LLC ("Command"), a U.S. manufacturer of CNC Toolholders. Headquartered in Uhingen, Germany, EWS offers worldwide distribution including facilities located in China, Korea, and France.
Command will continue to offer its current product lines, including standard and custom toolholders, specialty toolholders, along with its full line of ThermoLock® Shrink-fit products and the URMA modular boring systems and reamers. With the addition of EWS, Command will significantly expand its global presence along with its product lines, including a complete offering of driven and static tools.
