EPLAN Software & Services Opens New Office in Chicago

Farmington Hills, Michigan, March 1, 2010 - EPLAN Software & Services has opened a new regional office in Chicago, located at 700 Commerce Dr., Suite 500, Oak Brook, Illinois, Phone: 630-288-2511.

The decision to strengthen the company's presence in the Midwest comes on the heels of steadily increasing customer base and interest in its advanced computer aided engineering (CAE) technology from the region. The new office will allow the company to more effectively serve the growing needs of the current and future users of its products from the surrounding Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin markets.

"There are companies who are considered leaders of their respective industries but are not easily accessible to their most important stakeholders: their customers. That's not the kind of company we want to be. Rather, we aspire to be the electrical computer aided engineering (E-CAE) industry's global leader that is in the neighborhood of virtually every customer throughout the U.S. and Canada," said Jan Dominik Gunkel, president of EPLAN Software & Services' North American operations, about the company's ambitious expansion goals.

Opening of the new Chicago office is an integral part of the company's strategic plan to build on its recent growth both in terms of market share and physical expansion. It is also the first of other locations planned to be added to its network of regional offices in the mid-term future. "We will look forward to providing our existing and new customers the benefit of having local, value-driven support to complement our world-class CAE software products," added Mr. Gunkel.
