Press release date: September 12, 2009
Buffalo Grove, IL - Engineered Materials, Inc. (EMI) and the Intercept Technology Group (ITG) launch a new line of conductive corrugate and static dissipative corrugate sheets, mailers, bins, boxes and containers. The new line of permanent ESD protective corrugate is being marketed under the Royal Conductive and Royal Static Dissipative names. The coating and the various coated products have all been thoroughly tested and certified by a NARTE certified ESD Engineer.
In addition to coated paper corrugate, EMI has also developed a long term static dissipative coating for Polypropylene (PP)Plastic Corrugate. This coating is not like traditional coatings which can be easily rubbed or abraded off, or has a short shelf life. The Intercept coated plastic corrugate is effective, humidity independent and clean. The coating on the PP sheets is robust, rub resistant and holds up to high use and re-use situations without impacting the ESD measurements.
