Singapore 2nd December, 2010 - ERNI has set up the first Asia backplane & cable assembly factory in Beijing China: ELSA ERNI System. This enables ERNI to provide a total solution to the customer.
ERNI offers a wide range of PCB press-fit connectors and cable connectors such as SMC, MiniBridge, MaxiBridge and MiniMez, each with unique design features for special applications. Beside connectors, ERNI designs and manufactures manual and automatic press machines to ensure that connectors are perfectly assembled into PCB or cable. ERNI Asia President & CEO, Dr. Chris Bruhwiler said, increasingly more multi-national and local companies are setting up R&D centre in Asia. Design engineers need not just quality electronic components, they need a reliable and fast PCB & cable assembly service for quick testing, trouble shooting and verification of design. R&D centers, design houses and start-ups are set to benefit from technical assistance, prototyping, pilot run and first series manufacturing available from ELSA ERNI System.
