Press release date: July 15, 2011

Milford, CT - EAO Switch Corporation of Milford, CT USA, a premier global supplier of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Systems and Components, announces aluminum lenses and front bezels for all pushbuttons and indicators in the series 04, 14, 56, 61, 71, and 84 switch ranges. These HMI Components improve the human machine interface in a wide range of interior and exterior applications for factory environments, lifting and moving machinery, rail/bus/coach transportation applications, platform equipment, or any other rugged application withstanding harsh abuse, such as in public use.

Aluminum switches are available in a wide range of standard colors, including gold, silver, blue, red, and green, with options for convex lenses or illuminated spot. EAO can also laser engrave these lenses with any legend from a large internal library of ISO and industry standard symbols, or custom markings, as specified by the customer. The highly resistant finish provides durability well-suited for industrial use. They improve the look and feel of any HMI control panel, allowing customers to standardize switch colors aligned to switch functions for easier, more intuitive use.

Switches can be sealed up to IP 67 and switch types mixed and matched to suit any new design or refurbishment project.

Products comply with international standards, including UL, CE, RoHS, CB - EN/IEC 60947-5-1, NFF 16-102, CSA, CCC, GOST, and German Lloyd.
