EA Appoints Hubert Larenaudie President Online - Asia


REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced the appointment of Hubert Larenaudie as President Online - Asia, responsible for EA's online product, technology and distribution operations in the region.

Mr. Larenaudie joins EA from Vivendi Universal Games where he was President for Asia-Pacific, successfully bringing to market online PC games from that company such as World of Warcraft and StarCraft. He joins EA with nineteen years experience in the entertainment industry and recognized leadership in the world's most competitive online gaming market.

Erick Hachenburg, formerly responsible for EA's Online operations in Asia, has decided to leave EA after successfully completing a two year assignment in China to build the foundation for EA's studio and publishing infrastructure in the region.

Jon Niermann continues in his role as President for EA Publishing in Asia, leading the business from the company's regional headquarters in Hong Kong.
