MINNEAPOLIS, MN, February 20, 2009 - Stein Industries Inc, the parent company of E-Switch, Inc., announced today the acquisition of Lamb Industries. E-Switch is a leading global provider of electromechanical switch products including toggle, tact, pushbutton, rocker, snap-action, slide, dip and many illuminated product styles. The E-Switch and Lamb combination will present customers an expanded product selection particularly in the industrial markets requiring higher power switch products.
Tom Meyers, chief executive officer of Stein Industries, stated, "we are very excited about the combining of Lamb Industries into our E-Switch business. We have great respect for the Lamb Industries brand and welcome Larry and Justin Lamb, as well as the entire Lamb organization, into our company. We look forward to providing our customers a broader range of products and continue serving them with the high level of quality and customer service they have experienced over the years".
Larry Lamb also stated, "we are very excited about becoming part of a larger organization, one with the resources available to expand our sales opportunities well into the future". Integration of the business is expected to happen immediately with the product lines now available at www.e-switch.com and www.lambind.com. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
