WORCESTERSHIRE, England, September 4 -- E.J. Brooks Company of Livingston, New Jersey (USA), the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of high barrier and tamper evident security seals, has completed the consolidation of its previously reported acquisition of Markitwise International Ltd of Worcestershire, England. Markitwise International is a leading provider of tamper evident tape, label, property marking and asset management products.
The newly created company is to be called E.J.Brooks UK Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of E.J. Brooks Company. The new company will be manufacturing, marketing and distributing both Brooks and Markitwise brands from new UK headquarters located in Worcestershire.
E.J. Brooks Company is the world's leading provider of ISO 17712 compliant high security intermodal bolt and cable seals, tamper evident indicative metal and plastic security seals as well as RFID enabled electronic seals. Brooks is the only seal manufacturer that has attained US Customs' C-TPAT validation.
The consolidation of the Markitwise group under the E.J. Brooks Company banner allows existing and new customers to become more efficient with complete assurance of global compliancy.
E.J.Brooks UK Ltd. will operate under the direction of Jason Allen as Managing Director who will report directly to Brooks' global headquarters located in Livingston, NJ (USA).
As a result of this consolidation, E.J. Brooks Company has named experienced security professionals, David Billingham, as Sales Director to manage sales and marketing for the Company and has appointed Debbie Hardy to the position of Key Accounts Manager.
