Windmills, Tulips, Wooden Shoes and Designer PC Cases

ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands, March 27/-The Dutch manufacturer Nexus Technology launched their idea of the next generation home PC. Nexus is known by enthusiasts for their silent PC components and now they release the final design of the Psile living room PC case. It is small, stylish, and quiet and it has unique customization features to make it match your interior or style.

There is a global trend of PC's moving more and more into the living room but many households struggle with the current chassis that are available. Most of them are big, loud and ugly. "Our idea was to create something small, stylish and quiet and we asked the Dutch designer Ed Annink to make the design. We are very pleased with the sophisticated look of the case and the fact that it is so clean and simple" says Michael van der Jagt, marketing manager of Nexus Technology. "And we have managed to get some great cooling and noise reduction features inside."

The case is built around one layer aluminum heatsink to provide cooling surface for the hard disk and other components. And the cover of the case is fully fitted with highly efficient noise absorption material to get rid of any unwanted sounds.

The Psile case is constructed out of 0.16 inch aluminum and the surface has been given a sand-spray finish. The top cover is plastic and painted with the finest DuPont paint for a strong and warm glossy finish. The two materials blend in perfectly in the cube-shaped case of size 8.87x8.87x7.53 inch.

Through the product website at www.psile.com you can download a template to be used in a graphical application to make your own design. Whether you want your holiday pictures on the case, or leopard skin, or original Dutch Delfts-blue...anything is possible.

More information on the case and reseller addresses can be found on the website at www.psile.com. Price for just the Psile case but with a Panasonic multilayer DVD-burner built-in is $ 269.95. And a full pre-built silent computer system is available from $ 1,199.00.
