The racks, designed specifically for storing long parts including pipe, struts and threaded rods vertically to save floor space are being offered by Durham Manufacturing Company, Durham, CT. The racks also incorporate integrated shelves for storing shorter sections, boxes and miscellaneous items.
The only difference between the two models is that one is furnished with a chain for extra security. Measuring 36 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 84 inches high, the racks are constructed of angle iron, fully welded, with a capacity of up to 3,000 lbs. The three shelves are fabricated of 16 gauge steel with depths of 14 inches, 10 inches and 6 inches, respectively, from bottom to top. Angle iron arms extend 8 eight inches beyond the shelves to increase holding capacity and a 6 inch retaining lip at the floor level keeps parts from slipping. Finished in durable gray powder coat, the rack is shipped fully assembled and ready for immediate use.
