Drawsol 850 X4 Heavy Duty Drawing and Stamping Lube Provides Enhanced Corrosion Inhibition for Steel Operations

NORRISTOWN, Pa. — Manufacturers drawing and stamping steel and tough alloys need metalworking fluids that maximize lubrication and corrosion protection to protect tooling and parts. Houghton International's Drawsol 850 X4 has been designed primarily for heavy duty drawing, stamping, forming and extruding. It is ideal for difficult steel and stainless steel operations.

Drawsol 850 X4 is a compounded blend of extreme pressure agents, fatty lubricants, petroleum oil and other inhibitors. Houghton specifically formulated the fluid with an enhanced corrosion inhibition package that allows steel parts to remain free of corrosion during storage. An additive package containing high levels of ester and EP provide maximum lubrication performance for increased tool and die life.

Drawsol 850 X4 may be cut back with water for use on routine press operations ranging from heavy gauge drawing to medium stamping. It also provides good washability in subsequent cleaning operations, which leads to easier cleaning and wider operator acceptance.
