April 30, 2010 - North Dighton, Massachusetts, Draka Cableteq USA (www.drakausa.com) today announced it has hired Gerry King as its National Sales Manager - Canada. In this position, Gerry will be responsible for the Fire Protection, Downhole Reservoir Management, Industrial, Utility and Water markets for all of Canada. With offices based in Brantford, Ontario, Gerry will be accountable for developing end-user relationships and working with a network of distributors to serve multiple market needs.
In announcing this new position, Draka Cableteq's Senior Vice President, Andy Hemingway noted: "Canada is a significant market for Draka Cableteq. Gerry King has more than 20 years of wire and cable experience and has a deep understanding of Draka Cableteq's specific markets. We are excited to have him aboard."
