Dr. Guenther Schubert of PTR-Precision Technologies to Present at ebeam 2010 Conference
Reno, Nevada - October 12, 2010 - PTR-Precision Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce that Dr. Guenther Schubert will be presenting the paper, High Frequency Deflection for Enhanced Electron Beam Welding and Heat Treatment, at the 2010 ebeam Conference at Harrah's Reno Hotel in Reno, Nevada on Tuesday October 26. This paper is a technical overview of the unique features of a new welding and heat treatment tool set called "high frequency beam deflection". High frequency beam deflection gives electron beam welding the ability to temporarily deflect a beam out of the molten pool, enabling multibeam welding, electron optical viewing, on- and off-line seam tracking and more.
The ebeam - International Conference on High-Power Electron Beam Technology is held every two years in the United States and this year it will be from October 24-26, 2010. The conference is dedicated to the latest advances in the area of Electron Beam Technologies for metal melting, coating and advance materials processing with papers presented by specialists and experts. The possibility to better understand the scientific problems facing the development of electron beam technologies and to view the numerous applications of these technologies makes this conference an important event for the EB community.
