SHANGHAI, CHINA: Dow Corning Corporation will feature its proven Dow Corning® brand silicone water-based additives, resins and intermediates, and fluorosilicone coatings at China Coat. The company also will offer a presentation on fluorosilicone coatings during China Coat Congress.
At Booth 9D12-14, tradeshow visitors will learn how Dow Corning silicone water-based additives provide easier formulating, low VOC, and safer handling. The additives enable performance benefits, such as improved mar resistance and slip, excellent foam control, outstanding water resistance, good leveling/wetting, improved gloss, and durable adhesion promotion.
Dow Corning will showcase its silicone resins and intermediates, which improve resistance to extreme temperatures, moisture, corrosion, adhesion, and weathering.
Attendees also will learn about Dow Corning's fluorosilicone coating technology, including the significant advantages of using fluorosilicones, such as easy clean, water and oil repellence, high hardness, and resistance to acids and bases.
In addition to the company's show exhibit, Dow Corning's Greater China Coatings Industry Senior AETS Specialist Lucas Chou will present Silicone Polymer and Silicone-Fluoride Hybrid Polymer Result in Stain-Resistant and Easy-Clean Coating at the China Coat Congress. Chou will discuss the development of coatings with anti-graffiti and easy-clean properties, and the importance of these coatings in industrial, architectural, wood, plastic, and marine applications. He will highlight the use of Dow Corning products that use fluorosilicone- or silicone-based binders as protective coatings. The presentation will take place at 1:30 p.m., November 26, in Meeting Room Number 4.
China Coat 2008 will take place November 26-28 in the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, China.
