Alexandria, Minnesota - August 21, 2006--Douglas Machine Inc. received a patent on the innovative Smartrak® Steady Stream Infeed on July11, 2006.
The Smartrak® eliminates product bridging at the lane guides and removes the gaps that compromise pack pattern accuracy and continuous product flow. Distinguishing features include solid adjustment cross members, rigid lane guides and cam style adjustment clamps for stable operation and quick, repeatable changeovers.
The Smartrak® is used on Douglas product lines including the Axiom® Servo Case/Tray Packers and the Contour(TM) Shrink-Wrap Systems.
