AEC, Inc. will be at IMTS 2006, held at McCormick Place in Chicago.
From September 6-13th at booth B-6362, AEC will be showcasing their most popular portable chiller and temperature control units. In addition, AEC will feature their new Single Circuit Chiller.
As a leader in chiller technology, AEC offers the most extensive line of portable chillers in the marketplace. The PS Series offers a leaving water temperature range of 30°F to 65°F and provides hp ranges from 2-40. Available in air or water cooled models, the PS Series offer scroll compressors (on 2-30 HP units) with less rotating mass and internal friction, no suction and discharge valves, low noise and vibration, and high reliability because of fewer moving parts.
AEC's TrueTemp Series water temperature control units provide accurate control for production applications requiring a continuous supply of temperature-controlled water and have an operating leaving water temperature range of 32ºF to 25ºF. Compact units are available in 9kW, 12kW, 18kW, or 24kW configurations. Upright units are available in 9kW, 12kW, 18kW, 36kW, or 48kW configurations. These units provide consistent and reliable heating where city, tower, or chilled water is too cold for direct process use. To minimize energy consumption, a half heat/full heat feature is incorporated into the control circuit.
The TrueTemp Mini features an operating temperature range is 32°F (0°C) to 250°F (121°C) and offers a stainless steel pump available in 1/ 2hp and 3/ 4hp with 15gpm to 20gpm capacities. The True Temp Mini offers an off the shelf 1/16 th DIN processor-based PID fuzzy logic controller that is accurate to within +/-1°F. The TrueTemp Mini's compact size doesn't compromise accessibility for maintenance as it offers easily removable panels for quick access to internal components. Safety is also a factor with its independent safety thermostat, motor circuit protector and NEMA 1 electrical enclosure.
The ECU Series meets AEC's highest standards for temperature control, making this TCU both affordable and efficient. The ECU's small footprint is an attractive feature when space is a commodity, and a variety of options are available to fit many types of applications. This TCU features an immersion-style Incoloy® heater and a bronze-fitted centrifugal pump. Other features include independent high-temperature safety thermostat, adjustable low supply water pressure switch, and 150 PSI pressure relief valve.
The new single-circuit chiller design from AEC, Inc. offers a process that doesn't require the usual redundancy of a dual circuit design; by simplifying the hardware with a single compressor, evaporator and remote condenser, the RS1-Series is able to offer a cost savings of up to 35%.
With typical sizing ranges from 30 tons up to 100 tons, the RSW1-Series is available in five water- or air-cooled models. A compact and modular design allows the RSW1-Series to free up valuable floor space, making it ideal for smaller spaces and retrofitting into a current process.
