DoALL Sawing Products and Remmert GmbH will be demonstrating the Remmert Robot 06 material-handling robot in booth B7301 at IMTS 2006. The new Robot 06 can grip round, flat and multisided materials regardless of position. It can handle components that weigh up to 364 lbs. with an extremely high degree of repeatable accuracy. It is also capable of rapid sorting of sawn blanks and can be used for the fully automated movement of materials from a sawing machine or other machining operation to another machining cell. The key benefits of the Robot 06 are lower unit costs and production sequences that require little human input.
The integrated Remmert software determines where each part is placed without any form of human intervention. It can easily be integrated into any exisiting automation concept because commuication is seamless without the need for an additional interface on the production control center.
