STERLING, VIRGINIA - DIRAK, a global innovator in hinges, handles, locks and latches has opened a new US Headquarters in Sterling, Virginia. The new building more than doubles the size of the previous facility. "The US market is key to our continued global success and this move confirms our commitment to our customer base," said Armin Fink, CEO. "The additional office and warehouse space is paramount to our future success. It will allow us to accommodate the ever-growing DIRAK team and increase our inventory levels. The end result is better customer service and shorter lead times."
The new headquarters will feature an on-site dedicated training and applications center for both customer and employee training. Learning opportunities will include a Product and Applications Gallery, featuring DIRAK products installed and functioning on sample applications and an interactive E-LINE system area. Users can experience first-hand the possibilities of the E-LINE electronic locking system to control and monitor access to sensitive data inside enclosures within data centers.
A new commercial system upgrade has also been implemented in conjunction with the move to the new facility. Microsoft-based Navision® has been selected as the commercial system for DIRAK operations worldwide. With this system, DIRAK will be able to maximize efficiency of receipt and shipment of products, optimize warehouse space and be able to locate inventory quickly and accurately.
