Elk Grove, IL,- Dillard's Inc., among the nation's largest fashion apparel, cosmetics and home furnishings retailers, has selected Wynright to provide an automated material handling system solution, from receiving through shipping, for their new 850,000 square foot fulfillment center in Maumelle, AR.
Dillard's continued commitment to maintaining excellent service levels with its eCommerce business, has led to the expansion of its fulfillment center operations. Wynright Corporation, a leading, US-based, engineered solutions provider, manufacturer, and system integrator will be providing the conveyor, sortation, and warehouse control systems to meet the Dillard's team's operational requirements.
"The material handling system relies heavily on the latest in MDR conveyor technologies" stated Clint Lasher, President of Wynright's Oak Lawn integration office. "It enables a reduction in noise levels, offers safer operating conditions, and reduces the facilities' overall energy consumption- all factors in Dillard's decision to incorporate this latest technology", concluded Lasher.
The new fulfillment center is set to be fully operational in 2012.
