Dienes sells razor slitters, primarily to the film industry, that contain grooved sleeves, made out of metal, and a brush-roll that can aid in replacing the sleeves, and it allows customers to be able to slit anywhere on the machine.
Two of Dienes' holders contain multiple razor blades, allowing for easy changing. The Octo slitter can be engaged with a remote control, allowing for changing of blades quickly. The Octo slitter allows for fast and smooth changing while you're still working.
"You don't lose momentum and keep on working while you're changing the blade," said Wade Gilman, sales engineer for Dienes USA.
The DF-19 holder is manually adjustable, with multiple blades on its head, allowing for easy changing as well.
