Diebold Expands Euronet Worldwide's ATM Network Across Europe


Fleet upgrade enhances ATM uptime, reduce management costs



NORTH CANTON, Ohio -- Delivering greater self-service convenience to consumers, Diebold, Incorporated (NYSE: DBD) is adding 700 new Opteva(®) automated teller machines (ATMs) to Euronet Worldwide's extensive fleet across Europe. The agreement includes Opteva cash dispensers with full cash recycling capabilities. Diebold will also provide three years of maintenance and deliver ATM channel management services to enhance the security, compliance and uptime of Euronet's new terminals.



An industry leader in processing secure electronic financial transactions, Leawood, Kan.-based Euronet operates 53 offices globally and serves clients in approximately 155 countries. As Euronet continues to grow in Europe, the company realized it needed a strategic partner, such as Diebold, that could support its self-service network expansion.
