Grimsby, ON April 13, 2006) Dennis Parass, President of Handling Specialty, has received the 2005 Ontario Global Traders Gold Award in the Leadership category for the Central Ontario Region. The ceremony was held last week in Barrie, Ontario. "I am honored to have been presented with this award" says Parass. The top exporters from this event, plus the regional gold winners from eastern, southwest and northern Ontario, will compete for provincial honours in Toronto on May 31, 2006. The Ontario Global Traders Awards are the province's premier export recognition program. First introduced in 1998, the Awards recognize the outstanding export achievements of the most innovative and successful small and medium-sized enterprises, leaders and students in Ontario. The Awards are coordinated by Ontario Exports Inc., the Government of Ontario's export development agency with support from their partners in trade.
