Delcam Expands Sales Team To Meet Growing FeatureCAM Demand

Delcam has expanded its USA sales team to meet the growing demand for its FeatureCAM feature-based CAM system. Kris Moody has been given responsibility for sales in Missouri and the surrounding states, while Tim Mackey will be based in Michigan, where he will focus on sales to the automotive supply chain.

"We have received a record number of enquiries since the launch of FeatureCAM 2007," claimed Delcam USA President, Glenn McMinn. "The new strategies for high-efficiency machining added to that release have created a huge interest in the program from companies looking to maximize their machining productivity with easy to use software."
"The level of visitors to our booth at the recent IMTS exhibition provided an additional boost to our numbers of leads," he added. "We had reached the stage where we needed more people to be able to handle the number of prospects effectively without affecting the service we offer to our existing customers."

Tim Mackey spent eight years as a CADCAM programmer and manager before moving into software sales. In the past twenty years, he has sold and supported a range of systems, including Autodesk Mechanical Desktop, CAMAX and HyperMILL, principally in the automotive industry.

Kris Moody also has more than twenty years experience in engineering and technical sales. His career has included management positions within companies manufacturing injection molded and thermoformed plastic components, and forged and fabricated metal parts.

"Both Tim and Kris have extensive experience in a wide range of engineering disciplines," commented Mr. McMinn. "Their expertise will undoubtedly help ensure that our customers gain the maximum benefit from their investment in FeatureCAM software."
