Dee Young Named to N.A. Composites Distribution Specialist Role

Research Triangle Park, NC (August 4, 2006) - Reichhold, Inc. has named Dee Young to serve as Distribution Business Specialist. In this position, Young will be a key point person supporting the needs of Reichhold's distribution network in the North American composites industry.
He is based at Reichhold's World Headquarters and Technology Center in Research Triangle Park, NC.
In this role, Young will serve as a single point of contact to assist distributors with a wide variety of questions related to technical issues, product offerings, literature requests and other inquiries for composites products in North America. He reports to Reichhold North American Distribution Manager Tom Short.
As distribution business specialist, Young works with Short to maintain and distribute Reichhold's Distribution Price List or DPL. He works with Reichhold distributors to maintain price supports and works with Reichhold sales representatives to ensure that new business opportunities through distribution are clearly defined and acted upon according to Reichhold Rapid Response guidelines.
Distributors will continue to work with their respective Reichhold customer account specialists (CAS) in placing orders and should work through Reichhold salespersons on pricing issues. Young's role will augment these practices thus making Reichhold easier to do business with.

"While he won't have an immediate answer for every question, his proximity to our technical and commercial personnel will make him an invaluable resource to Reichhold's distribution network."
Young will work with Reichhold distributors to grow mutual business and ensure that there is clear and effective communication between Reichhold and individual distributor representatives. A six-year veteran of Reichhold, Young joined the company in 2000 as a customer account specialist (CAS). In that role, he has maintained close working relationships with Reichhold's direct and distribution customers.
His responsibilities have included working closely with plant schedulers to streamline production scheduling, customer order management and assisting the Reichhold sales force in determining product selection and production locations for new customers
