Almere, March 28, 2006 - De Bazaar in Beverwijk has chosen the IP-Surveillance software from Griffid to manage its security cameras and video streams. The possibilities to remotely control movable cameras and the platform independency were the most important reasons to install the Griffid application.
De Bazaar is the largest indoor market in Europe. Every weekend more than 60.000 visitors are having access to a wide variety of products and goods displayed in 20 halls. To control all movements and maintain overview De Bazaar installed a total of 22 cameras both fixed as well as wireless connected to the network from multiple vendors. The Griffid Monitoring Station software is hardware-independent and is deployed to manage all the cameras and recorded video streams.

The software is based upon a flexible platform and offers user friendly preset functionality. This is a benefit as it offers us the ability to simply configure each individual camera and control it at a high pace. You can even configure to send the camera to a preset position every quarter. You can configure if the camera has to record continuously or event based for example based on motion detection".
The operator of De Bazaar is furthermore supported by the notification functionality where he receives a pop-up screen or email in case of an event. The operator can also make snapshots or zoom in on a license plate of a car in case it is leaving the parking lot without paying.
