April 8, 2008-Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. will be awarded the 60-Year Longevity Award by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA) at the association's annual conference, April 15-19, 2008, in Bonita Springs, Florida. Dawes, based in Wisconsin since 1947, is one of the seven founding members of SC&RA. At that time, the forerunner of Dawes ranked among the top specialized carriers and rigging companies for trade shows. The company was also a leading heavy machinery mover for the foundries, tanneries, breweries, and the tool and die industry. Today, Dawes is an industry leader in crane rental and sales and has been a member of the ALL Erection & Crane Rental Corp. family of companies since 1978.
