DataLase Appoints New Chairman to Its Board of Directors

March 19, 2007 - DataLase, originator of the award winning DataLase process has appointed Board member Trevor Bailey to the position of Chairman. Previously a Non-Executive Director at DataLase, in his new capacity as Chairman Trevor will ensure that the relationship between new and current investors, Board members and management is maximized. Trevor will also provide assistance to the company by using his packaging experience and contacts to help the business grow.
Already an active Board member, Trevor will continue to work closely with executive management to increase the presence of DataLase and the DataLase product range within the global market. The innovative DataLase process uses a laser reactive coating, which undergoes a color change reaction from white to black when imaged with a low powered CO2 laser.
Trevor has previously held a number of senior management positions with a number of major packaging companies, most notably, Chief Executive for Smurfit (UK) Ltd. Further management positions have equipped Trevor with a wealth of knowledge and strong understanding of the packaging industry, placing him in a perfect position to occupy the post of Chairman within DataLase. Trevor's previous positions include Sector Managing Director, at SCA Packaging and Managing Director at Rexam Plc.
