New Policy Deployment Workshops Help Enterprises Quickly Address Challenges Associated with Audits, Security and Compliance
ACTON, Mass., Sept. 12 -- Lumigent Technologies today announced it has added to its service offerings to include three-day engagements with existing and potential customers to help define, fine-tune and automate their data auditing and compliance systems. The new offering is in response to strong customer demand for greater assistance with the increasing complexity of data auditing and the security needs associated with growing regulatory requirements and IT control frameworks.
The three-day sessions, called the "Lumigent Policy Deployment Workshop," are designed to assist Lumigent customers with the mapping of Lumigent's technical solutions to company-specific business issues related to data audit, security and compliance. The workshop is also available to potential customers to demonstrate the value of Lumigent's solutions.

The "Lumigent Policy Deployment Workshop" involves experts from Lumigent's professional services team conducting an on-site visit with a customer and focuses on a five-phase approach that includes:
1. Assess and Discover: During this initial phase, Lumigent professionals work closely with customers to better understand their regulations and assess how to apply best practices. Lumigent also reviews the IT control framework and previous audit findings to determine the scope of required controls.
2. Translate and Design: Lumigent interviews the company's IT security, compliance and audit teams to validate their regulations, best practices and frameworks against Lumigent's deep body of experience and subsequently identify gaps. Lumigent then takes what is often a large body of technical terms and requirements and boils them down to terms that resonate with compliance managers, auditors, CISOs and CSOs so that everyone has the same level of understanding.
3. Enable and Test: Lumigent professionals design an end-to-end strategy to enable and automate controls and then test the system to make sure everything is in working order.
4. Analyze and Validate: Lumigent then applies the desired strategy so that it can be implemented within the parameters of Lumigent Audit DB, Lumigent's leading database auditing, compliance and security solution. Working hand-in-hand, Lumigent and the company's IT staff roll out the new solution for immediate comprehensive data auditing.
5. Review and Tune: Lumigent and the IT staff then do a final appraisal of the system and make any needed adjustments to ensure that everything is operational and ready for production.
