LOVES PARK, IL -- Danfoss has been recognized by Ethisphere(TM) Magazine as one of 2007's most ethical companies. Ethisphere Magazine annually analyzes, recognizes and rewards ethical leadership and business practices to companies worldwide, and Danfoss is one of just five companies to be recognized in the Industrial Manufacturing category.

"We're obviously humbled and delighted that Ethisphere thought Danfoss worthy of such recognition. The Danfoss culture is one that seeks not only to deliver the highest quality and innovated automation products, but also to positively engage the communities we serve, impact and operate in, and that will continue to be a primary focus for all Danfoss stakeholders in the years to come," says Chuck Manz, President North America Danfoss Drives.

According to Ethisphere Magazine, The World's Most Ethical Companies(TM) methodology analyzes companies that go beyond making statements about doing business "ethically", to translate those words into action. Winners demonstrate real and sustained ethical leadership within their industries.

Ethisphere uses a rigorous eight-step process to collect and screen information before scoring companies relative to industry peers on nine separate criteria that include governance, citizenship, internal systems, legal and regulatory, innovation, executive leadership, industry leadership, perception and reputation, and transparency. Within each of the 30 separate industry categories, companies that had a materially higher aggregate score compared to their direct competitors were recognized as 2007's World's Most Ethical Companies.

Ethisphere's methodology report is available at www.ethisphere.com/methodology www.ethisphere.com/methodology> .

Danfoss is a leading manufacturer of precision mechanical and electrical components, with locations in more than 120 countries. Danfoss created the VLT name when they introduced the world's first mass-produced VFD in 1968, and the name has set the standard for high performance quality variable frequency drives ever since.
