Houston, TX, 77098
USA

Press release date: January 5, 2012

HOUSTON - Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas recently chose Digisonics as the enterprise solution for their maternal fetal medicine PACS and structured reporting needs.

OB-View, the Digisonics PACS and structured reporting system, will provide users with access to high performance image review, comprehensive fetal growth analysis, professional reporting capabilities and a single clinical database for their maternal fetal medicine studies. Full remote reading capabilities will be available via OB-View Net, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire maternal fetal medicine PACS and structured reporting system.

Additional OBLink interfaces will streamline connectivity between the Digisonics system and incumbent systems, improving the efficiency of the hospital's clinical workflow. OBLinks will autopopulate patient demographics and measurements from Siemens Acuson and GE ultrasound machines directly into the Digisonics report, saving valuable data entry time and eliminating possible input errors.

Methodist Health System will also implement the Digisonics Search Package, a comprehensive, user-configurable search engine. With this powerful tool, the hospital will be able to quickly set up search criteria to extract clinical information for use in research, compile statistics required for accreditation, and generate management reports to target areas for productivity and efficiency.

About Digisonics, Inc.

The OB-View Image Management and Reporting System combines high-performance image analysis, PACS image archive, integrated clinical database, comprehensive fetal growth analysis and automated growth curves, and professional, concise reporting into one complete system. An additional OBLink interface provides autopopulatation of reports with patient demographics and measurements, saving data entry time and eliminating entry errors. Users will also have fully functional web-based access to their OB/GYN studies for image review and report editing via OB-View Net.
