Dynasonics incorporates BIM into TFX Ultra product line
March 1, 2011 - Dynasonics, division of Racine Federated Inc., has developed Building Information Modeling (BIM) files in support of its TFX Ultra Flow and Energy meters. Each BIM file provides detailed product information for architects, engineers, and contractors, to assist in the design and construction of building and automation systems. TFX Ultra flow and energy meters monitor and measure flows in liquid cooling or heating systems, as well as general water supply and usage.
Dynasonics BIM files are available for the TFX Ultra Remote system, as well as all associated transducers (sensors). These include standard pipe transducers, large pipe transducers, and small pipe transducers covering a range of ½" to 96" pipe diameter. BIM offers our clients an easy way to retrieve information on the TFX Ultra systems and to incorporate flow measurement parameters within the design specifications. Building Information Modeling is known to reduce costs, while improving productivity by providing essential product details within building projects upon demand.
