Torrington, Connecticut - December 27, 2011.... DYMAX Corporation recently co-sponsored the Susan B. Anthony Authors' Luncheon at the Torrington Country Club in Goshen, CT. The luncheon was a fundraising event for the Susan B. Anthony Project, a non-profit agency which provides domestic violence services, sexual assault crisis services, and other support for women and children in northwestern Connecticut.
The luncheon featured Anne Garrels as moderator. Anne, an NPR senior foreign correspondent for more than 20 years, is the author of Naked in Baghdad. She was one of the 16 American journalists who remained in Bagdad and reported live during the 2001 Iraq War. Also featured were Christopher Little, freelance photographer and author of Fallingwater, Gully Wells, author of The House in France, and Dorothy Wickenden, author of Nothing Daunted.
