Images and Graphics from IPC/WHMA-A-620B Now Available on DVD



BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA —  IPC — Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces the release of a new DVD containing the photos and illustrations found in IPC/WHMA-A-620B, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies. The DVD provides users of the standard with a helpful resource for creating customized internal workmanship documents and multimedia training.



IPC/WHMA-A-620B Illustrations — Entire Image Set features 685 images that depict target, acceptable, process indicator and defect conditions for cable and wire harness assemblies. All images are digitized in a high-resolution TIF format suitable for printing as well as importing into image manipulation software.



Released in 2012, IPC/WHMA-A-620B is the world’s only industry-consensus standard addressing requirements and acceptance of cable and wire harness assemblies. A collaborative effort between IPC and the Wire Harness Manufacturer’s Association (WHMA), the document covers wires, soldered terminations, crimps, flat cable, ultrasonic welds, splices, connectors, cables, tie wraps, lacing, coax and more.
