DSP Group's Latest VoIP System-on-a-Chip (SoC) Provides Panasonic's IP Terminals the Benefits of Rich VoIP Business Features

SAN JOSE, Calif. — DSP Group® (Nasdaq:DSPG), a leading global provider of chipset solutions for converged communications, announced today that its highly-integrated and recently-launched DVF99 VoIP SoC solution has been selected to power Panasonic's KX-NT550 Series of IP Telephones. Panasonic is the leader in business and home telephone systems, unified business communications, security and surveillance systems, retail information systems, and office productivity solutions.

DSP Group's DVF99 is powered by two ARM processors for robust application and advanced voice processing as well as embedded Audio Front End. Leveraging these and other key DVF99 features, Panasonic can address all the range of office requirements from standard phones to executive terminals, delivering exceptional professional performance. The KX-NT550 Series reaches new dimension in audio experience, thanks to excellent HD quality audio on every phone, Enhanced Echo Cancellation and Expanded Acoustic Chamber, combined with easy access to powerful supportive features and applications. These IP phones were designed to complement existing communication infrastructure, yielding a notably low total cost of ownership (TCO).

"DSP Group's DVF99 SoC delivers outstanding price-performance to our end users," said Jan Markus Jahn, Director of Visual and Communication System Solutions at Panasonic Europe. "DSP Group's VoIP technology has enabled us to quickly deploy HD voice IP phones across regions where there is a high demand for superior levels of voice quality," he concluded.

"We are pleased and proud to continue many years of close and successful collaboration with Panasonic," said Ofer Elyakim, CEO of DSP Group. "The DVF99 SoC is ideal to meet the demands of Panasonic's latest models, which are some of the most advanced voice-centric IP terminals," he continued.
