Springfield, Missouri-May 22, 2007-Underwriters' Laboratory of Canada (ULC) has issued a Level V listing for Internet or intranet communications via XR100 and XR500 Series control panels. The level V listing requires version 119 software updates to the XR100 and XR500, and version 202 updates to the SCS-101 receiver. Both updates will be available in May.
The updated software provides the necessary operation to meet the ULC S304 Standard for Central and Monitoring Station Burglar Alarm Units.
"Our investment in network monitoring technologies will pay off for customers throughout Canada," said DMP President Bill Jackson. "Customers realize significant operational efficiencies thanks to networked systems, and online communication provides multiple, redundant signal paths that ensure reliable communications in the most complex applications."
